Located in Salvador, Cortes. The main village center (MVC) serves as the entry point and reception center of the whole tour.

At the MVC, a welcome ritual which is an excerpt of a full show of Princess Wadji folklore is presented by the Cortes Cultural Collectives through a “palina” (rite of passage).

However, whenever there are special events, a full show is a theatrical ritual rite of the passage to the Abatan River officiated by the legendary Princess Wadji, warrior and guardian of Abatan River. The story talks about women’s empowerment wherein Princess Wadji led her tribe in fighting against the Tirones after their men died in an encounter in Mactan, Cebu. The ritual gives blessing to the tourists for a safe tour to Abatan River.
